Just letting you know how much we enjoyed seeing our favourite children's entertainer, Colin Buchanan, on Sunday night. We were the noisy supporters up the back cheering and singing loudly! Thank you so much for organising him to come Salisbury Community Carols, it was quite a coup, I'd expect, to have him there. Between two children I have been to at least eight concerts or performances by him and I'm always entertained, and my children think he is fantastic! We have all his CDs and knew the songs he performed. This is our third Christmas in Salisbury but first-timers at this event and even though Colin was the drawcard we will be attending in the future as it had a great atmosphere, was very enjoyable, was not commercialised and emphasised the real meaning of Christmas - all things we look for in a carols night. Well done!
Hey all. My name is Sarah and I am a part of the Uniting Technology tech crew who has been at Salisbury carols for many, many years now. I just wanted to say, keep up the great carols! It is one of the best carols shows in Adelaide and it is where I started dating my fiancee, David :) Sarah
The program on Sunday evening was good, we enjoyed the carols. BUT the prices of the food would put many people of coming again. For example, hot dogs with sauce were $5!! I think next year, so as to keep this event 'family friendly' care needs to be taken to ensure that the food and drink stalls are fairly priced.
